5) Lgl Asst. Jobs

Lgl Asst Jobs

I am a senior associate attorney at Bryan Schwartz Law, and proud double bear. Our firm has two openings for the position of legal assistant to help advance our civil rights mission. The duties typically include formatting and filing pleadings and briefs with state/federal/administrative courts, responding to calls as needed, working with clients to obtain necessary documents to produce in discovery, and similar litigation support tasks. Would you be willing to share this opportunity with any graduating undergrads you know who are seeking to get a nuts-and-bolts perspective in a workers’ rights firm? Join us for a discussion with four distinguished panelists about trends, challenges, and career opportunities for students interested in cybersecurity and defense. Our panel aims to better illuminate what can often be perceived as a dense field to understand and an even denser field to be a part of.

Four panelists will discuss the trends and challenges that lie at the intersection of cybersecurity and defense today. Panelists will also draw upon their own experiences to color the layout of work engaged with cybersecurity and defense, for students interested in navigating careers within the rapidly shifting field. The panelists are Professor Chris Jay Hoofnagle, Professor Nicholas Weaver, Lt. Col. Kevin Childs, and Dorothy Ngutter (Diplomat in Residence, NW Region). Further Information about the panelists and the panel can be found at this Facebook Event Page.
